Many people refer to stress relieving and grit blasting services as “sandblasting”. At Conrex Steel, we do not use sandblasting or sand as a grit blasting agent, in fact the use of sandblasting is not legal in Ontario. Stress relieving and grit blasting services at Conrex Steel use steel grit, and steel shot, to restore steel fabrications or prepare them for coating.  We also have access to Pickling, Glass Bead, Polishing and other surface prep solutions.  Feel free to reach out to us on any required solution.
